50 is the new 30

A happy birthday to all since this is our year to turn 50! A few months ago I received my first mailings to receive my AARP card. Thought that was just stuff my Dad got in the mail. Here is the link just in case you missed yours :)
Personally, at 50 I am just getting started, I hope you are too.

You know you are turning 50 when…

  • When your back goes out more than you do
  • You are proud of your lawn mower
  • You buy a compass for the dash of your pickup
  • Your ears have more hair than your head
  • You talk about good grass and you’re referring to the neighbors lawn
  • You go bowling without drinking
  • You have a party and your neighbors don’t realize it
  • You hear your favorite song on the elevator
  • Young guys pass you up and yell “Get a horse!”
  • Uncles feel comfortable telling jokes around you
  • Burger King and a movie is the whole date, instead of the start of one
  • Boones Farm wine is not “pretty good stuff”
  • “I can’t drink like I use to…” replaces “I’m never gonna drink again”

AHHS Amazon.com Storefront

In an effort to make this site self funding I have put together a storefront that connects to Amazon.com. The idea here is that anything you are anyone purchases from Amazon through this site provides a commission to help pay for the expense of running the site. The commissions are small but every little bit helps and if you are going to purchase from Amazon anyway why not start here. The prices are exactly the same and your checkout and private information is handled completely by Amazon. An example is if someone buys an iPod the commission is about 3.00, a book may be .60. Or you can get a 7 carat loose diamond for only 290k, what a bargain, let’s all get one! You can reach the store by using the link on the right.

Welcome to our new Class of 76 website

Class of 76ers, while I am still working on site design I had to flip over to this new method of managing the site. Don’t be surprised if you see a very different site tomorrow or the next as I work out the bugs, design etc.. You can still reach the guestbook, pics etc.. all the links will still be here and over time I will move most of the old pages too.
The “write to us” page is updated so you can keep us informed as to where you are and what you are doing. You can also send us news about stuff you want everyone to know about. More to come, please be patient.
